Hello ! I thought I would write a bit and explain who we are and our background.
We are a husband and wife team (Phill & Lisa) and we have now been trading Forex for six years. We both come from a technical background. Phill trained as a computer mainframe engineer before going on to setup an Internet Service Provider business supplying services to government and corporate clients.
I initially trained as a software engineer on flight simulators and have written a wide range of systems for various companies. I have also been involved in running training courses, seminars and webinars for companies and trade bodies.
We found early on in our trading career that one of the largest psychological barriers to trading is actually getting in and out of the trade at the right point without letting your emotions get in the way. This also applied to us ! That is when I started coding automated trading systems. We decided to switch to cTrader for our development because it allows me to program in a “modern” coding language and environment (C# and Visual Studio) giving us far more control over what we can do.
We soon had people asking if they could also run the software that I’ve written but found many people struggled with the IT side of trading. That was when Trading Stuff was born. In addition to providing copies of the cBOTs and indicators that I write we provide IT support through screen share sessions to help people get up and running and on-going support through our Telegram group. We also have a YouTube channel showing the videos we produce.
We don’t write Money Trees and we don’t have three Ferrari’s and a yacht !
